Duurzaamheid, het is een begrip waar geen overheid en geen bedrijf meer omheen kan. In 2050 moet de economie duurzaam, klimaatneutraal, circulair en inclusief zijn. Wat wordt precies onder ‘duurzaam’ verstaan? De Verenigde Naties geeft de volgende definitie: “Duurzame ontwikkeling is de ontwikkeling die aansluit op de behoeften van het heden zonder het vermogen van de toekomstige generaties om in hun eigen behoeften te voorzien in gevaar te brengen”. Deze definitie is later uitgebreid met de drie P’s: People, Planet en Profit. Dit is de basis voor Maatschappelijk Verantwoord Ondernemen.

Duurzame bedrijfskleding van ETP
Emergo Textile Projects ontwerpt, produceert en levert bedrijfskleding met respect voor mens en milieu. ETP voert een actief beleid met betrekking tot Maatschappelijk Verantwoord Ondernemen. De vier strategische leidraden zijn: sociale omstandigheden, duurzaam product, maatschappelijk betrokken en milieu-impact. Waldorf Astoria - part of Hilton Worldwide - opened its doors for the first time in The Netherlands at 542-556 Herengracht in Amsterdam. Of course, the hotel's corporate wear had to match the allure of this luxury brand, and none other than acclaimed Dutch fashion designer Jan Taminiau was brought in to do the designs. Taminiau's distinctive signature is displayed in every detail and couture, resulting in a magnificent collection of corporate wear. Obviously, the garments had to be practical, without compromising the design.
The collection's highlights include an elegant dress for the female front office staff members, displaying a sepia print of Amsterdam's canals; the silk fabric was hand-printed at the Amsterdam Textiel Museum. Another striking design is a unique cashmere coat with matching bowler hat for the porters. All in all, a fitting wardrobe for the staff of such an eminent hotel.
Royal Theatre Carré first opened its doors in the winter of 1887, as a circus. Now, 130 years later, the building's origins are still noticeable in its architecture, programming, and, since recently, also in its new collection of corporate wear. The collection was designed by Tilly Garcia, founder of the Expresso brand, and created in collaboration with ETP. ETP produced the garments.
Tilly Garcia is a Carré ambassador and she is very fond of the theatre. "My husband and I support Carré because we think it's important that this type of theatre is preserved for the future. The theatre has existed for 130 years, and it's absolutely wonderful. Big names in the theatre and music world have performed there, and will continue to perform there in the years to come."
Pieter van Opheusden, audience services and events manager at Carré, says, "It's really wonderful that Tilly Garcia, as a Friend of the theatre, applied her expertise and network to complete this project with ETP. We wanted the designs to convey something theatrical, but they had to be comfortable to wear as well. ETP has thoroughly succeeded in combining these two requirements of representativeness and practicality. We have always been praised for our hospitality, but our new corporate wear has even reinforced that welcoming feeling. The designs show Carré's history, but with a modern twist. I am absolutely delighted with the result."
Tilly looked for inspiration in the past. The collection is a modern-day version of a historical costume. "The greatest challenge was to design something that exudes Carré's true spirit. I was given complete freedom to develop that idea." Of course, the design not only had to look fabulous, it had to be user-friendly as well. "It wasn't hard for me to interweave those two aspects, as I'm a practical type of person. For instance, the ladies' robe-manteau and the gentlemen's waistcoat for the catering staff have been made sleeveless, so they're not in the way during work. Also, we used fabrics with stretchy Lycra, for a comfortable fit."
"For our colour scheme - red, black, and gold - we took inspiration from the theatre," says Pieter van Opheusden. "Red velvet is found throughout Carré, the gold buttons and detailing hint at the royal connection, and black provides a contemporary, chic look."
With Expresso, Tilly wanted to provide Dutch women with well-designed clothes with a fabulous fit that are both stylish and comfortable to wear. As such qualities are equally important for workwear, the collaboration with ETP went smoothly. "Claudia and Fleur (ETP project managers) are skilful professionals and under their coaching this project went really well. And thanks to Pieter van Opheusden's ability to express Carré's wishes in such a clear and lucid way, I was able to get straight to the point. I enjoyed doing this immensely, and ETP did a fantastic job!"

Funeral directors company and insurer Monuta stands out through its personal approach. Corporate wear has an important role to play therein, which is clearly shown by Monuta's collection.
The creative concept that was ultimately presented to Monuta, was the result of a co-creation project of ETP and fashion designer Mattijs van Bergen. This collaboration turned out to be a golden match. During the development phase, a feedback group also contributed to the project.
The fitting sessions took place according to our specific policy. These included providing bespoke clothing, made to measure clothing, and anti-allergy clothing.
This has resulted in a striking collection of corporate wear. The collection was shown, to much acclaim, during the festivities for Monuta's 90th anniversary. Monuta staff members were given their new outfits - made to measure, whenever necessary - at the various Monuta local offices.
TUI Group is the largest travel organization in the world. TUI Group owns six European airlines, making it the largest holiday fleet in Europa. ETP secured TUI Travel's 'New European Uniform' tender, as one of several international contenders.
TUI decided upon ETP for the production of their new uniform, because of our quality products, including our E@SYFIT® Webshop, which is customizable per country, our project management, available to all individual customers within the umbrella organization, and our warehousing and logistics.
The presentation of TUI's new uniform in the Netherlands and Belgium occurred at the same time with the one for Dreamliner. The design of the airline uniform was commissioned to German fashion designer Guido Maria Kretschmer. All TUI staff, at various holiday locations all over the world, received their new corporate wear according to schedule.
W Amsterdam Hotel has truly integrated Amsterdam's rich history with modern design. The hotel is housed in two historical buildings near Dam Square: the former Rijkskantoorgebouw voor Geld- en Telefoonbedrijf and the Kas Bankgebouw. Everything in this hotel oozes Amsterdam, from the historical architectural elements to the staff's corporate wear.
This exceptional collection was created in collaboration with designer Mattijs van Bergen. Mattijs successfully embraced the identities of both Amsterdam and the trendy, fast-growing international hotel chain. The 'XXX' of the Amsterdam coat of arms, for example, has been ingeniously incorporated into the collection. The 'X', incidentally, also refers to the former Kas Bank.
Dark grey suits, made from anthracite melange wool, are combined with pale blue denim shirts and tops and dark blue cardigans. The look is enhanced with eye-catching details and bright yellow accessories. For the hostesses in W Lounge, a cobalt blue dress was designed. All in all, this is a wonderfully diverse collection, highlighting W Hotel's hypermodern character and luxurious atmosphere.
Connected, is the title of the current collection that the client facing ABN AMRO staff members are wearing. This name symbolizes the ABN AMRO staff members' recognisable, professional appearance, linking them with their co-workers as well as their clients.
This collection is absolutely wonderful! A business-like look with a contemporary twist. For men, the line consists of stylish, modern suits in dark grey-blue shades, combined with sleek shirts in different colours. The ladies' wear stands out owing to its sleek designs and excellent fit. Accessories in fresh and bright blue shades complete the outfits. All in all, a balanced collection in a colour palette that suits ABN AMRO perfectly.
The wondrous world of Efteling - everyone should visit this amusement park at least once. Initially set up as a fairyland park themed around ten fairy tales, Efteling has grown into a fairyland world, that reached a staggering 5 million visitors from home and abroad in 2017. A love of nature and fairy tales has been combined with the kind of gregarious hospitality typical of the southern parts of the Netherlands.
The year 2017 saw Efteling's 65th anniversary. Efteling celebrated this joyful occasion with a new exposition in the centre of the park, the opening of Holiday Park Efteling Loonsche Land, and the opening of Symbolica, an enormous indoor attraction. Of course, the anniversary provided the perfect occasion for presenting a brand-new collection of workwear and corporate wear. The collection was the result of a collaboration between ETP and Dutch designer Mattijs van Bergen.
Mattijs van Bergen
Preparations for the Efteling collection started as early as 2015, when ETP introduced a number of designers to Efteling. Efteling selected Mattijs van Bergen, which was a logical choice. After all, Mattijs' bold, colourful designs ooze a hint of fairy-tale-ness. We could not have done this project without the help of Efteling's creative team and staff. Many staff members acted as a test panel, and employees from various job groups wore the designs as part of a pilot study. This collection, therefore, is very much the result of a collaborated effort and creative process.
The rollout of the new corporate wear was scheduled for the end of 2017, comprising all job groups: attraction attendants, catering services and merchandise personnel, front office and guest services staff, management, cooks, and support services personnel. In the Autumn, ETP organized fitting sessions for all 2,500 Efteling employees, who then received their sets of corporate wear made to measure. The new collection has been in use since December 2017.
The Efteling collection consist of 65 separate items, from business suits and trench coats for management to comfortable workwear for park attendants, including trousers, waistcoats, shirts, jackets, softshells, and cold weather accessories. Catering services and merchandise staff, support services personnel, pool attendants, and so on, were also given new, complete outfits. The collection in its entirety is absolutely stunning.
T-Mobile Nederland, subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, is one of the largest mobile communications services, with some 4 million subscribers. T-Mobile is a leader in mobile internet and offers its subscribers - including commercial clients - straightforward, gratifying access to mobile communications services. T-Mobile Nederland carries the brands T-Mobile and Ben, offering mobile internet network, solutions for businesses, and fixed telephony, television, and broadband internet services.
The T-Mobile staff, spread over 124 shops, have been wearing ETP designed and produced corporate wear since 2009. Our very first presentation was bang on! Since then, the collection has been expanded, or separate items have been replaced. This approach ensures maximum efficiency and sustainability, as each garment will, in fact, be worn, which prevents surplus stocks. T-Mobile and ETP confer several times a year on potential follow-up items, after which ETP works out some new designs. If needed, colours and logos are adapted to changing guidelines, which ensures an up-to-date brand image.
T-Mobile shops order their corporate wear through ETP's fully customized E@SYFIT® Webshop. Colours, images, budgets, and the T-Mobile corporate wear - both separate items and full sets for specific job positions - have been fully customized according to T-Mobile's wishes.
Cooperative DELA has been an ETP customer since 2005, the year their corporate wear collection, designed by Paul Schulten, was introduced. Since then, DELA has set itself the goal of becoming the most committed funeral provider in the Netherlands. As its staff will play a crucial role in achieving this goal, DELA decided a new look for them was in order. And once again, they joined forces with ETP.
ETP introduced DELA to a number of distinguished Dutch fashion designers and Francisco van Benthum's style and signature struck an immediate chord.
Early 2015, the rollout of the new collection of corporate wear took place. There are various items to choose from, so staff members can change their look depending on the particular task at hand. The collection is noticeable for its colour, which was especially developed for DELA, striking patterns, and stylish accessories.
This stylish, distinctive, and refreshing look was lauded by the DELA staff– the wearers – as well as visitors.
